It looks like Ronda Rousey is making her return to… Wrestlemania?

Ronda Rousey, the once great MMA fighter, has taken some time out from the Octagon after getting the HANDS in back-to-back losses.

But the Sensei eventually loses to the student right?

Before getting dethroned, Rousey had a killer 12-fight win streak where none of her opponents stood a chance. Let’s relive some of those moments.

So what’s next? Could it be a career change? How about this — Wrestlemania.

Ronda already made her first appearance alongside the Rock during Wrestlemania 31 where she layeth the smacketh down on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s candy ass all over the ring.

https://giphy.com/gifs/ronda-rousey-dana-white-noticias-wwe-NI5Imfwcgdwsw

Since then, she’s been making appearances here and there at different WWE matches & NXT events.

Earlier this year during the Mae Young Classic, Rousey made another appearance, except this time accompanied by Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir, fellow UFC fighters.

So who will be in the actual match? Ryan Dilbert, Bleacher Report journalist, says,

“Per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is planning on booking Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir vs. Flair, Bayley, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks at next year’s WrestleMania.”

The 4 WWE divas stepping up to the plate are solid, but this is one of those times where you want to have Nia Jax in your corner.

Charlotte vs. Rousey will be the highlight of this match, but you’ve got to wonder, how much strong style can we expect to see? Charlotte ain’t a punk so we’re looking to see a historic match up.

This will be one of the biggest….if not the biggest women’s match in Wrestlemania history.

Shouts to all of the moonsaults, armbars, suplexes, and chokeholds we are about to see.

Roman Reigns says he’s ready to fight The Rock… but only at Wrestlemania

Roman Reigns is the most hated man in wrestling today.

Not because he’s lacking as a performer, but because the fans don’t want to see this “picture perfect” wrestler be the guy at the very top.

Wrestling is after all about the underdogs and rebels and his story is just too storybook for them to get behind. Reigns is a former NCAA All-American at Georgia Tech who’s related to The Rock and could easily steal yo’ girl.

Add that with the fact that Vince McMahon has been trying to aggressively put him over on the fans for the past five years and you can see why all these fanboys get butt hurt when he keeps winning shit.

Roman Reigns GIF - Find & Share on GIPHY

Still, nothing can stop his ascension to the top and after retiring The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33 and most recently John Cena at No Mercy the question is, who’s next?

The answer is simple. It’s his cousin, The Rock.

In a recent interview with The Mirror, Roman spoke about his return to The Shield, his recent success despite all the haters, and a potential Wrestlemania moment that would shake the universe to its core.

“I can only see me and Rock going at WrestleMania. Not only because of his schedule, but just the level of that match and the level of superstar that he is and you know, where I’m trying to get. But we also have a deep family tie. We represent the same family tree and having the opportunity to represent our culture, there would obviously have to be a sit down and we would have to express how we feel and the light we want to do this in… because there’s a lot of people we represent watching. The last thing I want to do is make it confusing or anything like that.”

Of course The Rock is the busiest man in Hollywood and has his fair share of haters as well, but if this were to actually happen, it would be the main event of the decade.

The Rock is clearly still a beast but his last Wrestlemania match a few years ago against John Cena didn’t go so well and ended with an insane injury.

Still, this dude is ready for anything and the chance to go up against his cousin on the biggest stage of them all and quiet all the haters is gonna be an opportunity that he would likely not pass up.

If anyone deserves a title shot against Brock Lesnar, it’s Finn Balor

Recently, Brock Lesnar has been crushing everyone in his PPV main event matches.

After taking down Braun Strowman at No Mercy, and a rematch with Roman Reigns most likely being saved for either Royal Rumble or Wrestlemania, who could he face next?

Right now there aren’t many other guys who match up with the Beast Incarnate but probably the best possible opponent for him right now is none other than the Demon Slayer, Finn Balor.

https://giphy.com/gifs/wwe-nxt-finn-balor-J1p43J01mQqmA

His momentum since returning from injury is through the roof and he’s way over with the crowd. He’s already a title contender but a match against Brock would solidify him as one of the top guys. Plus it’s a classic David vs. Goliath storyline.

Of course Brock would most likely take him to Suplex City and Balor would have to take the L but we won’t know ’till we see them face off! This is the match the WWE universe has been dreaming about for months now.

It seems like Vince has a lot of confidence in his former NXT star to be one of the next big faces of the company. Balor is ready to be that dude.

https://giphy.com/gifs/wwe-nxt-finn-balor-XykfRHMVLf0Ws

Let’s not forget about Finn being the first Universal Champion when he beat Seth Rollins at SunmmerSlam. He never actually lost his belt, that’s why he deserves his match against The Beast Brock Lesnar more than anyone else.

Finn is on fire right now and his feud with Bray Wyatt is only making him more epic.

I don’t mind seeing him face off with Bray but we need to keep the fire in Finn going. Most likely we will need to see Seth vs. Finn first to see who will face Brock for the title. Balor vs. Reigns could set that up as well.

Roman Reigns GIF - Find & Share on GIPHY

They need to keep booking Finn with big names to get him a bigger push.

Another interesting thing to watch out for is if The Shield reunites and gets in his way of Brock. We could easily see some type of three-way match happen as well.

Whenever they give Finn his chance, he has been ready for it since he joined the main roster.

Roman Reigns will be rated higher than Stone Cold and The Rock in WWE 2K18

Oh it’s true. It’s damn true. We’re just a few days away from the release of WWE 2K18 and there’s already controversy.

This year everyone’s least favorite heel, Roman Reigns will be rated a 95 and you already know the internet is losing their shit over it.

https://twitter.com/TomCushnie/status/915929405339430914

Don’t get me wrong, Reigns is a beast (and The Guy) but should he be rated higher than his cousin The Rock who is a 93? I don’t think so.

Not only that, but Roman is also rated higher than Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker. They are both rated 93 as well, as is John Cena.

Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Goldberg, and (1997) Stone Cold are rated at 92 followed by Daniel Bryan with a 91 and AJ Styles at 90.

I don’t know who’s making up these ratings, but if they’re anything like NBA 2K18 then you can expect a lot of athletes to be pissed.

Could Vince McMahon have something to do with 2K’s rating of Roman? We all know how controlling he can be and he’s been trying to shove Reigns down everyone’s throat for years now.

What about the legends like The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H? The list goes on and on and on so I don’t understand how 2K did the ratings this year.

Hopefully this year’s WWE 2K is better than the last couple of editions. From the looks of the screenshots, it feels realer than ever but we’ll have to wait and see the final product.

What are the chances that even though he’s the most hated, Roman Reigns will be the most used character online? I’m willing to bet on that!

WWE 2K18 drops next week on October 13th.

WWE teases a return for The Shield which is exactly what they all need

The Shield started back in 2012 when “The King Slayer” Seth Rollins, “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns, and “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose all left NXT to bring the chaos to the main roster. Together there was no one more badass in wrestling.

The three were unstoppable as no one could match their energy and the fans were loving it. They made their way up quick too, taking out everyone including legends like Triple H, Ric Flair, and Batista with The Evolution.

Not only did they body them but they beat them on back-to-back occasions including an insane main event at Extreme Rules in 2014 (above). In a short couple of years, they became one of the most popular factions in WWE history.

Of course it all ended when Triple H got into Seth Rollins’ head and convinced him to break The Shield apart by turning his back on Roman and Dean with chair shots heard around the world.

This was the best thing that could’ve happened to all of them though as they all became world champions at one point and solidified themselves as solo stars.

It even set up one of the craziest moment when Roman Reigns faced Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 32 and was inches away from the win until Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank to steal the title. That started an epic title run by Rollins where he was heavily protected by The Authority.

Dean ended up tasting championship glory in the following years as did Roman but he also became the most hated man in the WWE.

WWE GIF - Find & Share on GIPHY

For months the WWE has been teasing a potential reunion, whether it be Seth aiding Roman or Roman and Dean seeing eye to eye. It all came together last night on Raw

While Roman faced The Miz for the IC title Sheamus and Cesaro interfered and helped the champ retain his belt. This would’ve been Roman’s first IC title and he was robbed of it.

Of course they all beat the shit out of Reigns and after the show you see Dean and Seth walk up to him in the locker room and they all just look at each other like “yeah you know what this means.”

We can’t say we didn’t see this coming but honestly this way to bring back the Shield sucks. They’re really going to waste it on The Miz, Shemus, and Cesaro?

There are so many better way of booking this but I hope they don’t mess this one up in the end. There should be at least two legends involved with The Shield returning to the story line. Plus we need tables, ladders, and chairs dawg it’s that simple!

The Shield GIF - Find & Share on GIPHY

Let’s not forget Roman still has the most heat with the fans especially after he retired The Undertaker. Maybe getting back with The Shield could be the first step to turning it around because Vince has tried everything!

After beating Cena at what is believed to be his farewell match you’re pretty much the new face of the WWE. Still, the fans aren’t quite buying it.

What the fans do want to see is a Shield reunion and right now is as good as a time as ever. With all three of their characters kind of peaking out, this is the move that will bring life back into the product.

It looks like the Undertaker making a WWE comeback, but why?

After a legendary 27-year career in the WWE, which ended last Wrestlemania at the hands of Roman Reigns, there’s multiple reports about the Deadman AKA The Undertaker making his comeback to avenge the loss heard around the world.

At 52 years old, nobody really wants to see the legend make a return but apparently he’s been training in the gym just for that. There aren’t too many other details but we’d assume his return would be in time for Wrestlemania 34.

But the real question now is, why the hell is he tryna come back?

https://giphy.com/gifs/3ov9kbjlp7KcvG2oow

Fans don’t really want to see a worn-down Taker in the ring especially after how his last match ended. He just couldn’t keep up with Roman and besides, they wanted to see John Cena retire Taker but we all know how Vince likes controversy.

At this point I don’t know how many spears or superman punches he can take.

You can boo Roman Reigns all you want but it’s really his yard especially after he just retired John Cena too. We shall see if The Undertaker can redeem himself though. Fans would go crazy if Roman beat him two times in a row!

At this point I don’t know how many spears or superman punches he can take.

https://giphy.com/gifs/xT9Igl7AGrsTB3Rkxa

If they were to have a rematch at Mania this is how it should play out.

First, Roman would kick his ass the whole time and and just as he was about to pin The Undertaker I would have Stone Cold Steve Austin pull the ref away.

After that Roman would get a stunner and get pinned by the Deadman. Would there be any more epic way to end the match?

It really is crazy that The Undertaker is fighting at his age. Roman obviously has the advantage by being 20 years younger. He’s much faster and stronger for sure so if Taker were to win, it wouldn’t make for a very good storyline. Someone needs to interfere and who better than the Texas Rattlesnake?

Stone Cold Wrestling GIF by WWE - Find & Share on GIPHY

You never know when, or if, the Deadman will return but it could potentially be on Monday Night Raw. Roman Reigns could be talking shit in the ring and The Undertaker could pop up out of nowhere to finish where they left off.

Maybe they’d go with how he he usually does and it just shut off the lights to send a message that he demands his rematch. However The Undertaker decides to return, just know that it will be epic and the fans will lose their shit.

Win or lose, if facing Roman Reigns again is the only reason for him to come back. I just don’t know if the WWE Universe could handle another Taker loss.

In honor of the LeBron-Wade reunion, here’s their top 10 plays in Miami

After three long years, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are finally back together.

Back in Miami they were the greatest duo in basketball but will they be able to keep that same thing going in Cleveland? They’re both older and Wade is definitely on the decline but maybe playing with LeBron again is all he needs.

The real question is will there be as many alley-oops?

LeBron was too hype when his old friend signed and the two are already chilling.

Of course this was all part of their plan since LeBron left.

This was part of their plan all along. Who knows what’s gonna happen next season, will they try to bring their other buddies CP3 and Hoodie Melo into the mix?

It’s a good thing Wade only signed a one-year deal just in case LeBron dips to the Lakers. If the Cavs end up sucking somehow, then that’s probably what’s gonna happen.

But forget all that, in honor of their reunion, here are their top 10 plays together from the good old Miami days. Enjoy!

Does adding Hoodie Melo make the OKC Thunder title contenders?

After a wild offseason, it’s safe to say this upcoming year in the NBA is gonna be lit.

But after this week, the question is now are the Thunder loaded enough to make it past the Warriors and probably face LeBron and D Wade in the Finals? With the additions of Paul George and now Melo, the Thunder could have one of the most lethal offenses in the NBA.

Or they could totally implode if Russell Westbrook decides to not pass the ball.

Since arriving in OKC, Melo has been embraced by the team and city.

This is gonna be a scary sight for opposing defenses all season.

Melo was then asked this ridiculous question by a reporter and had the best response.

Melo couldn’t help but laugh when asked about coming off the bench. 😂😂😂

Carmelo has played over 900 games in the NBA and started all of them. Do you think he’s coming off the bench?

New York Knicks No GIF by NBA - Find & Share on GIPHY

ESPN actually reported that the Thunder plan to move him to the 4 spot and he’s already cool with their plans.

During media day, he was also asked about D Wade joining him.

As soon as Melo found out he was a free agent, he tried to recruit Wade to form an insane monster team but Flash ended up following LeBron to Cleveland. That team would’ve been too crazy!

Melo and LeBron recruiting D-Wade

A post shared by House of Highlights (@houseofhighlights) on

Carmelo is no longer the star on his team after joining the MVP Russell Westbrook and four-time All Star Paul George. But that doesn’t matter because he still will be a huge factor when it comes to clutch moments. And at this point he just wants to win a title!

He is low key still one of the nicest players in the league but continues to get disrespected by ESPN and NBA 2K. Don’t be surprised if Melo has one of his best seasons yet as he’s ready to prove the haters wrong.

The Western Conference is also as strong as it’s ever been after CP3 joined James Harden and the Rockets. They could’ve definitely used Melo too though.

The Spurs and the Warriors are reloaded as well but I think the Thunder have a good chance to make it far in the playoffs and hopefully make the Finals and go all the the way. That’s the storybook ending we need for our guy Melo!

As a Knicks fan, I’m hype to see Hoodie Melo go because I’ve seen what type of player and guy he is over the years and I just want him to do well. He deserves a ring man. At 33 years old, he only has a few good years left in him. This was the right move for him.

This NBA season is gonna be wild and it looks like the Thunder are back! Watch out KD and LeBron. It’s a new year and anything can happen!

Toughest trio. #ThunderFWD

Did John Cena just low key retire from the WWE last night?

Na na na na… na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye! John Cena is finally done with WWE. At least that’s what it felt like after yesterday’s pay-per-view. Roman Reigns kicked his ass last night at No Mercy, but enough with the shit talking.

John had an amazing run in the WWE over the years, tying Rick Flair’s title record at 16. Even though Cena didn’t win last night it was one of the best matches of the year and a hell of a way to go out if he’s actually done. My man Roman Reigns gave it to him!

“THANK YOU CENA!” the fans chanted as he stood in the middle of the ring to say goodbye to the WWE universe. The Undertaker already passed the torch to Roman at Wrestlemania and now Cena is doing the same for him at No Mercy.

There was something about this bow in the ring after the match that was different.

Cena has been hated and loved over the years but anytime he’s in the ring it’s always good for business. The kids loved him and he drove adult fans crazy.

But above everything else he was a class act and respected.

Now John is moving into movie acting just like The Rock did after he retired from the WWE. Not saying Cena’s gonna be the next Rock or anything but he definitely helped pave the way.

As much as he was booed, people are definitely sad that this may be the end.

https://twitter.com/Andre_Hinds/status/912175973986074624

John Cena had a legendary career and if it’s all over, there wasn’t much else he could’ve really done.

Let’s not forget John’s amazing debut when he answered to Kurt Angel during his open challenge. He beat him and from that moment on he started to build his name in the WWE.

Cena also had some legendary matches where he faced The Rock twice, including a Wrestlemania main event which proved he could be the face of the company.

Or even that time when he went against Brock Lesnar and got suplexed 14 times across the ring… that was too epic to watch.

My favorite Cena match is when he faced Rollins at Summer Slam. Even though he gets boos every time he comes out, he’s still one of the greatest to ever do it.

Now that John Cena is done with the WWE, Roman Reigns can be the face of it all.

Hate it or love it, Roman Reigns is the THE GUY in the WWE today. He has all the tools and the blessing from some of the biggest legends who just left the game.

At 40 years old, John Cena just isn’t as into it as he once was. He’s focused on a new career and he may even wife up Nikki Bella.

But who knows, maybe he will make a surprise visit at Wrestlemnia. We’ll see!

Vince McMahon is betting on Kevin Owens to be his next great superstar

While we don’t see him all the time, Vince McMahon is still calling all the shots in the WWE. He’s obviously been the one behind the Jinder Mahal push and until his last breath, he’s going to be as involved with the product as possible.

It isn’t like the 90s anymore where he was a big part of the storyline fighting against guys like Stone Cold and The Rock. Plus he’s older now and it wouldn’t be good for business if he got seriously injured. The guy is 72, give him a break!

Vince doesn’t do live appearances often but when he does, he has no problem taking a bump to sell a lit promo. The last time Vince took one was in 2013 when the beast Brock Lesnar gave him the F-5!

https://giphy.com/gifs/boards-vince-mcmahon-vg1pqu1NN8QlG

Brock has literally been The Man in the WWE ever since. Could Vince letting a wrestler put the hands on him be the magic touch for getting a huge push?

Before that in 2012 Randy Orton punted his head in the middle of the ring. Nobody could believe what was going on and it was brutal. Randy also had a big push after that and has been one of the main guys on the roster (when he’s healthy) since.

Randy Orton GIF - Find & Share on GIPHY

But then this past Tuesday on smackdown Vince McMahon came down to the ring to go over the situation with Kevin Owens and his son Shane McMahon.

It was all fun and games until Kevin gave Vince a headbutt and busted him open. Next thing you know Owens delivers a frog splash from the top rope adding insult to injury on his boss.

As entertaining as this was, I don’t think Vince should be taking risks like these, especially with a frog splash. But this is just something he does to give back to the universe every few years. Vince knows exactly what the people pay to see.

A lot of fans actually thought this whole incident wasn’t planned and are calling for the firing of KO. But honestly do you think anyone would have the balls to make a move on Vince without speaking about it? Come on son, you know better than that.

https://giphy.com/gifs/kevin-owens-Ho5Gm4Uac93YQ

Putting his money on Kevin Owens is one of the best things Vince can do for the business right now.

The fans love when KO gets on the mic because he speaks the truth and while he doesn’t look like a lot of these other muscled up wrestlers, he’s one of the most talented dudes in the ring.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qge_DR2dQgM

This could all be gearing up for a big Wrestlemania moment for Kevin Owens who deserves the push that he’s been getting lately. Remember how good that whole storyline with Chris Jericho was? Amazing! He can compete and help elevate everyone from young kids to the legends in the game.

Vince McMahon is betting his money on Kevin Owens right now and that’s what the fans want to see.
