What is Tronix? The new cryptocurrency that could beat out bitcoin

So by now we all know about Bitcoin (BTC) and its rise to glory, but the real question for everybody else, and even those who managed to catch it at the right time, (besides how to get started) is what’s next?

What’s the next big cryptocurrency and how can I avoid making the same mistake like I did missing out on Bitcoin?

I don’t know about you, but I was definitely a little heated after watching lil’ homie in Dope absolutely finesse his way to Harvard by utilizing Bitcoin. But, just like too many others, I saw it only for what it was, a movie, while others got rich seeing it as a roadmap.

Last week another cryptocurrency, Tronix (TRX), exploded over 500% over the course of just a few days. It started at less than a penny so, yeah, it doesn’t seem like much of anything, but let’s just take a quick step back and do some math.

At even just a single penny, if I were to spend $10,000 to buy 1,000,000 Tron “tokens,” that same $10,000 would turn into $1,000,000 once Tron hits $1.00.

Bitcoin is currently sitting pretty at around $15,000 per coin after soaring from $1,000 just at the beginning of this year, so hopefully we’re all on the same page.

Now, not everyone has that kind of cash to just throw and sit on, but it’s a new age; anyone with a few bucks can get involved.

The biggest key is that everyone has the same opportunity to buy in before this amazing concept really takes off.

The app StockTwits, an open forum for people to voice their ideas, really hammers this home.

Just 10 days ago, they had around 1,500 people watching live, and today over 8,500 sets of eyes glued to their screens waiting for the inevitable rise.

To even understand the concept, and then the process, you have to have some foundation in cryptocurrency as a whole. If you’re interested in learning more about Tron and other alt coins, head over to Crypto Head to gain some knowledge.

Huffington Post tells us that in 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin with the vision of it essentially becoming a democratic electronic cash system meant for the people. In reality, he created a decentralized digital currency operating in competition of “fiat currency.”

We all saw what the FCC just did to the internet, ending net neutrality; fiat currency is also centralized and basically corresponds to all national currencies issued by their respective banks.

So if you take away all the fluff that surrounds cryptocurrency, you can understand its definition: limited entries into a database that no one can change without fulfilling certain conditions. Like, peep your bank account. What else do you see in there besides entries in a database? Nothing.

You can’t change SQUAT without matching the condition that you physically own the cash even though we all might want to sometimes. The concept of currency is all about verified entry into a database of accounts as well as balances and transactions, so really what’s the difference?

Known by Forbes as possibly “the next Jack Ma,” Justin Sun is the founder and CEO of TRON, a blockchain-based and open source platform geared towards the worldwide digital entertainment industry.

Insanely enough, besides the massive growth TRON coins (Tronix: $TRX) have experienced, as opposed to Bitcoin’s seemingly stagnant few weeks, it even beat everyone out to becoming the first smart contract blockchain protocol with 10 million+ wallet users in the entire world.

MarQuis Trill knows exactly what’s good – “Keep your money in there.” The biggest misconception about these coins/tokens is that you get rich quick. The only thing more lucrative than day trading is holding – buying at the lowest point possible and selling at the highest point possible, not the chaos of day trading. Let’s think long term.

Do you know exactly when Bitcoin was this low? Or all of a sudden it’s the end of 2017 and Bitcoin’s flying high at $15k for no reason? These things take time and my gift to you, is blessing you with this info.

Sun has made sure his long-run plan is concrete, offering only a little info at a time. In a recent interview with the Medium, Sun was asked about his strengths in relation to TRON. His response:

“I am the former Chief Representative of Ripple in Greater China and also the CEO of leading audio content community with more than 10 million users — Peiwo APP. I know the things about blockchain and online entertainment.”

Cocky or confident, who knows, who cares? This man is a UPenn graduate who’s already appeared on Forbes China “30 under 30” in 2015 and 2017, and then again this year on Forbes Asia.

He was personally invited to attend Jack Ma’s own school, Hupan University, in Eastern China that to this day, has less than 40 students enrolled. He’s a man with a plan – THE plan actually.

Sun’s plan is broken down into 6 steps starting just this past August: Exodus, Odyssey, Great Voyage, Apollo, Star Trek, and Eternity. Ambitiously enough, plans are to decentralize online gaming within 5 years to essentially give the power to the people.

Sun has also announced some pretty epic updates to TRON, which can only bring hope, seeing as it’s barely marketed besides by himself.

A few days ago, he reported that OKEX, a giant of exchange, will add TRX to its listings and just yesterday opened up to the public, undoubtedly forcing prices up with time. The biggest update yet came with the announcement that the Tron Foundation officially locked up their 34 billion tokens until 2020.

Can’t help but to have faith in this guy. Especially when he tosses the fact that he’s actually choosing to destroy a part of that huge collection, in order to make the people better off. The less it exists, the more exclusive the product, and yet again the price shoots up. Simple economics.

All in all, the Tron Foundation has an extremely bright future ahead of it, with Justin Sun at the helm.

I think I speak for most people when I say not only does a centralized internet attack our pockets unfairly, but it attacks our growth.

What the Tron Foundation will do is stimulate growth like we’ve never seen before; this is the beginning of a lifetime’s worth of work and we’re able to witness TRX in its infancy.

Kids get bullied everyday b: Keaton Jones reminds us not everything is what it seems

So as we all know, young Keaton Jones from Tennessee has received a CRAZY amount of attention for the right reasons these last few days, as he bravely cried out to his mother about how ruthless his bullies were.

Celebrities reached out to Keaton all over social media; some even offering insanely generous gestures like passes to the premiere of the new Avengers movie in LA next year or better yet – the go ahead from Snoop Dogg to kick it, to let him know he’s not alone.

Keaton Jones has called everyone to arms against bullying, and brought a ton of awareness to this issue, but with all that being said, one thing I know is he’d better start with his own mother. Kimberly Jones, as we’ve now seen her Facebook page, seems sorta like a bully to me too.

Mark Strassmann of CBS News actually asked Jones to comment on some of these… Ok let’s just go with ‘radical,’ photos, to which she replied,

“The only two photos — the only two photos on my entire planet that I am anywhere near a Confederate flag. It was ironic. It was funny.”

I personally don’t think there’s anything “funny” or “ironic” about those photos, especially in relation to her quite riveting thoughts on Facebook, publicly dismissing everyone opposing her. Not only that but TMZ has uncovered that Keaton’s father is a known white supremacist and is currently incarcerated.

When asked if any of this had to do with racist intent, Jones responded,

“No. No. Absolutely not. [I’ve said] I spent most of my life being bullied and judged because I wasn’t racist.”

Telling “butt hurt Americans” (AKA Black people, but hey, if that makes her think she’s not racist, sure) that if they aren’t bleeding, have no bones sticking out and breathing to “stop crying” about the nationwide turmoil the Confederacy caused seems a lot like bullying actually.

As for throwing up pictures with the flag because it’s “ironic” and “funny,” I thought supporters of the Confederacy argue that the flag is only a symbol of “pride,” not jokes or irony, and CERTAINLY not racism.

What people still don’t seem to understand is that just because the Black people protesting against images of the Confederacy aren’t physically picking cotton, that doesn’t mean we’re not emotionally and mentally affected by its causes.

Whole family lines exist because slave masters were raping their slaves, and some of today’s youth are a product of that.

Now that’s absolutely nothing to be ashamed of or furthermore afraid to fight in support, so to dismiss anyone’s call of distress or simple protest for those reasons would be like someone dismissing Keaton’s on a smaller scale.

Of course he doesn’t deserve to be bullied – nobody does. But Petosky’s also right, we should be aware of what we’re putting all of our focus on. It seems like everyone’s focusing in on the actual person while some important points are being missed.

Instead of everyone in the U.S. jumping on the train bringing Keaton Jones to wonderland, why not use this momentum to shed light on the problem of bullying in general?

Bullying happens everywhere, especially within the Black community and a lot of it goes unnoticed.

The best way to combat it at this point, is to bring more awareness to the subject. No matter how it gets across, it needs to get across. That’s how the #MeToo movement started and peep how many offenders are now finally facing justice.

In this society, parents are telling their kids all sorts of complicated things regarding bullying that most can’t comprehend.

Furthermore, how is a kid supposed to understand exactly how to “be the bigger person,” when some adults don’t even really discuss the subject to hide the reality and others pretend like it doesn’t exist?

Parents can’t shy away from the topic in order to protect a child by just telling them to treat others how you want to be treated. How confused will they be when someone doesn’t treat them that way – and moreover, how unprepared?

The world’s a rough place, and if you’re not prepared for it, I think we can all say for a fact that it doesn’t necessarily get better. With every stage of life comes a new challenge; life hits hard at every point and the only thing we can do is hit harder.

I have a lot of respect for Keaton Jones for wanting his mom to record him talking about the things going on in his life to spread awareness, but also disappointed that his mother could be so openly hypocritical.

Based on her thoughts, I don’t have a clue what kind of advice she’d be giving him, but from the Kulture Hub Squad to you, the best advice anyone could give in order to make it through any obstacle that life has to throw at you is to stay true to yourself, no matter what.

Being yourself is your greatest weapon because life isn’t about acceptance or acting like you’re everyone else just to fit in – when you take that shot, how are you going to hit your goal if you can’t even see through your own eyes?

Why would UConn let a racist give an ‘It’s OK to be white’ speech?

I thought I was the only one buggin’ when I checked my school’s “Buy or Sell” Facebook page, an online platform for UConn students to do exactly that, buy and sell, and saw a post referring to an event “It’s OK to be white,” hosted by far-right journalist Lucian Wintrich.

But when it actually happened, I think it’s safe to say most of UConn came with the same ferocity and outrage. It was even moved because they were apparently afraid of protesters making a disturbance.

Lucian Wintrich, a very well known conservative blogger who has already been alleged for being straight up racist, has even been accused of being a “white supremacist” by John Decker at Fox News.

This 29-year-old out here trying to push these “beliefs” to schools now? “Putting an end to victimhood and privilege?” I didn’t know UConn was rockin’ like that.

And as for another thing, I know the university’ president Susan Herbst wouldn’t go like that either, so I’m wondering why the hell did they allow it?

Apparently, after getting the expected booes from the crowd, one brave and heroic soul, walked up and snatched up Mr. Wintrich’s “speech” papers.

I guess Wintrich had enough because he looked widdit to throw hands and got himself locked up in the process. So at least there’s a positive to this story.

But to add some background to this seemingly harmless blogger, Media Matters says Jim Hoft, aka “The Dumbest Man on the Internet,” and Gateway Pundit Founder announced Wintrich as the White House’s new correspondent with the Trump administration just a day before Trump’s inauguration.

A few weeks after that, just hours after the first White House press briefing, Hoft tweeted out a pic of him and young Wintrich holding what’s apparently a hand signal referring to the racist “Pepe” meme.

If you think that’s a bit of a stretch, here’s the tweet:

Hoft’s political blog also often shows repeated inaccuracies and just blatant lies so we can see why Lucian Wintrich fits in so well with him.

According to Media Matters,

“Hoft’s website is one of the worst purveyors of false information on the internet, having repeatedly fallen for fake stories, published numerous articles with factual inaccuracies (later pulling some, but leaving others uncorrected), and pushed fact-free conspiracy theories about a wide range of topics including President Obama’s birthplace.”

Aight, so let’s get back to Wintrich. Behind this facade of “the future of journalism,” that he’s trying to portray, why not just give the people more info? Media Matters denotes him as a “gay, conservative mouthpiece,” but to be fair, not entirely false.

Wintrich is also the artist behind a “Twinks4Trump” photography exhibit that was showcased at the GOP convention just over a year ago.

The importance of this is his closeness to many figures of the alt-right movement. I’m sure you remember them from Charlottesville.

His art exhibit featured mad racist and misogynistic people, such as Martin Shkreli, Milo Yiannopoulos, and even Gavin McInnes, who called our beloved Jada Pinkett Smith a “monkey actress.”

And there were many other “contributors” featured in Wintrich’s fun lil’ photography exhibit as well. Wintrich himself has also personally attacks people on Twitter regularly, much like Trump does on a consistent basis.

For what reason? We don’t know.

IDK about you, but before I’d allow someone to speak at my more liberal university, especially with an event name like that, during this time… I’d probably do a quick background check first.

Or maybe just realize that the speech in itself would bring about nothing more than division between students and more anger. Kinda like what our trusty President does every time he opens his mouth, and we all recognize that right?

My question is what were you thinking, UConn?

Baltimore has a homicide problem and the cops are sketchy about it

In my mind, I believed our country’s police brutality problem was mostly centered around the Black youth of America.

That was until a little over a week ago when WBal TV 11 released that B-More’s very own Detective Sean Suiter was killed with his own gun, while preparing to testify against his colleagues the next day. His killer is still unknown.

The BPD didn’t have much info for us, so we did a little digging on our own. The day after he was killed, Det. Suiter was ready to testify before a Federal Grand Jury against other cops in the department in a big corruption case with the Gun Trace Task Force.

The Baltimore Sun says the 18 year vet had joined Baltimore’s homicide unit two years ago in order to combat the rising murder rate. His death was the 309th homicide this year in Baltimore and the third straight year with over 300 homicides in the city.

B-More out here wilin’, but that’s only part of the issue.

Over the course of his career, Suiter had worked over 25 cases with two of the nine indicted cops. These were mostly drug related cases regarding officers planting false evidence and straight up robbing people of their own cash and drugs over the years.

Safe to say Baltimore’s police department has a history of corruption over the years. BPD’s story behind the incident, is that while doing follow up on a triple murder in a “notoriously violent section” (gotta say that, word? SMH) of the Harlem Park area in West Baltimore, Suiter attempted to speak to a man “acting suspiciously,” and was then shot. Classic.

And of course, the only lead is from an anonymous source claiming Suiter and his partner on duty apparently split up to cover both exits of the 900 block of Bennett Place. That’s when Suiter was murdered. With no video footage. With his own gun. Word?

Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis said Suiter struggled with his killer, even making a brief call on his radio, at the time it happened. He said that Suiter was found with his radio still in hand and also added that, “Surveillance footage showed Suiter’s partner taking cover when the gunfire erupted.”

So then tell me why there aren’t any CCTV cameras within 5 blocks of Bennett Place, the very same area. C’mon now Commish.

Now here’s another lil’ detail that apparently got lost.

After being shot in the head, Suiter was placed in a patrol car to be hospitalized, which got into an “accident” on the way. He was then transferred to an ambulance that then finally took him to Shock Trauma.

In a statement via Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis, he said,

“They did the best they could under a very terrible, difficult circumstance.”

Hold up, let me get this straight. So a detective was shot in the head, with his partner around, yet no signs whatsoever of the shooter. Then taken in a patrol car?  I didn’t know detectives drove regular patrol cars.

Especially when the only reason behind not having any body cam footage was the fact that they were both detectives, dressed in suits and ties, not patrol officers. But then to get in a car wreck after being shot in the head? That’s OD.

And of course the mayor was assured that the accident didn’t cause a significant delay in Suiter’s treatment. YOU get into an accident with a headshot wound and lemme know if it affected your treatment. Oh wait, you won’t be able to… Sounds a lil’ too much like Freddie Gray if you ask me.

Just last week, day before Thanksgiving, good ol’ commish Kevin Davis dismissed all administrative charges against the final officer involved in the murder of Freddie Gray. We’re all very thankful Mr. Davis.

Let’s be real with ourselves, Gray goes into the police van completely uninjured, then comes out with “spinal cord injuries” that killed him? Yeah, aight.

The point is, corruption runs deep in B-More’s justice system.

Adnan Syed is still currently locked up 17+ years later for a crime he didn’t commit and was possibly framed for after his charges were already dropped. Det. Sean Suiter was murdered the day before testifying against his own corrupt colleagues and no one has heard a thing about it.

Baltimore cops want respect from the community, yet what’re they doing to each other? If this is what happens to an officer, how do you think they’re treating dudes in the hood?

Of course this investigation won’t bring out the national change that’s needed to reform these types of police departments. And it’s seeming more and more likely that Commissioner Davis is trying to sweep this under the rug so it won’t — we already know his stance on police brutality at this point.

When it gets this tragic, you gotta go ahead and start from scratch. We don’t need these type of pigs on the streets.
