BBC and ICECREAM have two fire drops lined up for Spring 2019

Billionaire Boys Club (BBC) is channeling 1950s American drag racing nostalgia for their Spring 2019 collection. ICECREAM, on the other hand, will be tapping vintage ice cream parlor and 90s pop culture aesthetics for theirs.

BBC and ICECREAM definitely put in the work for these two drops hitting US flagship stores Feb. 1 and Feb. 9, respectively. For the BBC drop, homage is paid to the workwear style of the American postmodern era.

A fresh application of BBC’s design is added to the vintage wares of mid-century Americana fashion including washed denim, utility shirts, mechanic jackets, and flannels.

Intertwining the Spring collections design with the celebrated American pastime of tuning cars and turning them into super machines was the final inspirational touch this drop needed.

This season’s ‘Custom Rockets’ designs are layered over vintage styles and classic-style car club jackets were inspired by the National Hot Rod Association—a drag racing community founded in 1951 in California, USA.

Adding to the drip, archetypal Americana patterns such as plaid are featured throughout and are also seen reconstructed as a ‘Digi Check’ pattern on hoodies, pants, and reversible vest. Cop here today.

Following up with some more swag is the ICECREAM Spring collection due to hit the US on Feb. 9. Each piece acts as a perfect scoop of style and is designed for anyone who is a stickler for Aruba blue, sundress yellow, or muted clay pigments over corduroy cut-and-sew jackets, vintage woven shirts, and jersey club t-shirts.

A secondary palette of teal, rose tan, acid lime, and hot pink colors make for a visual POP of stylish pizazz.

BBC ICECREAM

Throwing even more splash onto this hot drop are references to 90s pop culture like a Rat Fink comic inspired t-shirt graphic, and design elements pulled from ice cream including sprinkles, melting cones, and a checkered pattern akin to vintage ice cream parlor decor.

Iridescent fabrics modernize this collection and layered outlines of ICECREAM logos create a distorted 3D visual. Not to mention the compliment of x-ray vision interpretations over ICECREAM artworks.

BBC ICECREAM

Skate decks are also included in this 2019 Spring collection – three released with the first delivery and five releasing in the second — along with grip tape, keychains, pin and sticker packs.

Make sure you don’t miss the drop on Feb. 9 OG. This ICECREAM collection is really a vibe. Cop here.

Billionaire Boys Club just dropped two fly new collectibles you need to cop

Billionaire Boys Club has taken one small step for man and a giant leap for hypebeasts with their limited edition Moon Man Collectible and White Astronaut BE@RBRICK 1000%.

Dubbed as version “LANDING 001,” the Moon Man Collectible will arrive on Jan. 21, 12PM ET at the BBC ICECREAM NYC flagship, Miami pop-up, and online. This is a serious investment for BBC collectors as only 150 astronauts will be made available for purchase.

Proving its provenance, the miniature vinyl spaceman comes with a numbered silver coin, the iconic flying “B” logo stamped on its chest, and the Billionaire Boys Club insignia on its primary life support subsystem.

Celebrating BBC’s first collector’s item series a handful of moon man figurines will feature Pharrell Williams’ signature. Allowing BBC ICE CREAM aficionados to have an equal chance of purchasing a signed version, autographed models will be sold at random and at the same price ($300).

If you happen to miss out on the drop, trust that this won’t be the only release as the moon-grey colorway is the first hue in a series of future Moon Man figurines. Other conceptualizations will feature various colorways and thematic designs.

Following the Moon Man Collectible’s release later this month is the White Astronaut BE@RBRICK 1000% on Jan. 26 at BBC’s NYC, London, and Tokyo flagships and their respective websites.

BBC ICECREAM

We’ve seen BBC collaborate with Medicom before. The BBC Starfield BE@RBRICK went hard AF and their BBC X NEIGHBORHOOD BE@RBRICK went even harder. It seems as if the streetwear brand can’t help but up the par because this release, unlike previous ones, includes a stature increase.

At 1000% the White Astronaut BE@RBRICK stands at 70cm high, features an astronaut body outline design, flexes transparent ears, and reps BBC logos on its head and back. This BE@RBRICK got the drip!

Truth for the wise, the Moon Man Collectible and White Astronaut BE@RBRICK 1000% might be a little too fly to play with but without a doubt, still, worth the cop.

BBC ICECREAM is blessing 15 lucky people with super rare varsity jackets

This year BBC ICECREAM celebrated 15 years of the drip at ComplexCon and to reward a select few “ride or dies” the iconic streetwear brand will be releasing an extremely exclusive special edition varsity jacket.

Made in the USA, the sacred varsity jacket features a soft wool melton body, naked cowhide leather sleeves, and leather reinforced cuffs for extra durability.

Plus, the elemental touches of the flying “B” logo patched on the front, a retro UFO motif on the back, and a hand placed felt appliqué representing the respective territories, all pay homage to BBC ICECREAM and their famous aesthetic.

You’ve never seen detail like this.

The 15 notable individuals who were chosen to receive this dope piece designed by Golden Bear Sportswear were hand-picked from BBC ICECREAM’s three flagship territories — United States, Europe, and Japan.

Each swag star to receive the commemorative BBC ICECREAM 15th Year Anniversary Varsity Jacket deserve it as their constant contributions and avid support of the brand go unmatched.

How could you not stand by this brand?

Over the past couple of months not only has BBC ICECREAM showed us what 15 years of the drip looks like through the commemorative varsity jacket but also through several collaborations released earlier this month that gave a nod to the brand’s history and a look into its future.

For over a decade BBC ICECREAM has run the streetwear culture since its inception in 2003 by Pharrell Williams and NIGO. Under the “i am OTHER”  umbrella the brand has positioned itself on a prestigious level among streetwear loyalists and the fashion industry overall.

This has been one hell of a crystal anniversary for BBC ICECREAM. From NIGO’s Human Made capsule and the recently revived Star Trak to all of the dope collaborative projects with SandalBoyz, Private Label, MEDICOM, and Pintrill, it’s quite easy to tell that the streetwear brand has solidified their place in fashion.

Of course, if you can’t get your hands on one of the 15 exclusive pieces, BBC still got you with their 15th-year-anniversary collection that’s full of drip. Peep below:

Drip like Han Solo with new Billionaire Boys Club x Star Wars collab

Billionaire Boys Club, please keep the hot Fall releases comin’! This time, the American and Japanese clothing retailer will be debuting a highly-anticipated drop featuring the iconic Star Wars franchise.

The full collection is dropping tomorrow, and just from some of the shots they’ve put together, we can already tell that this is a capsule you’re not going to want to miss out on.

Star Wars fanatic or not, you will appreciate the attention to detail when it came to creating this unique capsule. According to the BBC Ice Cream IG:

We combed through the movies and characters, we took note of significant elements like Han Solo’s dice, the Corellian Bloodstripe, the dynamic hyperspace scenes, and details of the Millennium Falcon’s design.

For all of you Han Solo stans out there, this is the cop of the year as you can now rock the Corellian Bloodstripe itself — a military medal awarded for extreme feats of heroism.

Of course, the homie Chewbacca had some inspiration in this collection too.

Still, the loudest statement in this collection is one of Han Solo’s greatest quotes featured on a tee in big bold galactic lettering, “NEVER TELL ME THE ODDS.”

Billionaire Boys Club

The epic release comes out tomorrow at BBC’s flagship store in NYC but will also be available on their official site.

Take a peep and definitely be on the lookout for more fly releases coming soon!

Pharrell’s iconic Billionaire Boys Club is always delivering fresh goods for every season and while their last collab with NBHD X adidas X Medicom Toys was hot, they’re dropping more heat with a new futuristic eyewear collection.

Stepping into the sunglasses game, BBC keeps their signature swag evident by being different from the rest. Of course, it’s not exactly an easy cop as the new collection is only available at the BBC EU Flagship store in London.

Don’t worry — a U.S. and Japan release is slated to drop soon after, so keep your eyes open!

Billionaire Boys Club

The sunglasses themselves are manufactured by famed Italian eyewear brand, Italia Independent, so you know the quality is on point.

The sport-inspired look is perfect for any outside condition with the rubber nose-pads and lightweight frame offering maximum comfort. If you’re wondering about color options:

Each style features orange, purple, blue or tan mirrored lens shields with the iconic Billionaire Boys Club logo. Frame colorways include: solid white, black star-field and clear star-field.

If you’re about the biking or skating life, these are the perfect shades for you as the angular lenses keep your vision stay crisp while looking fly.

Billionaire Boys Club is back with their second drop of ‘Egyptian Lover’ gear

Billionaire Boys Club can’t help but want you to stay fly in the heat. Rounding out their 2018 Summer Egyptian Lover Collection BBC concludes the clothing series with a second delivery.

The subsequent clothing drop mimics the inspiration behind the Egyptian Lover Collection’s theme but this time around delves deeper into Nubian exploration and curiosity.

Billionaire Boys Club

Lightweight silhouettes, new prints, and designs are mixed with UFO and space exploration imagery.

While the custom Africa diamond and dollar sign camo repeat remind us of the primary collection as they adorn a number of casual pieces.

Billionaire Boys Club

Long sleeve polos, mesh shorts, jerseys, and cut-and-sew pants collectively come together in different colorways.

All in addition to the vibrant multi-color stripe details and 90s inspired geometric patterns on select items that blend to perfectly close the collection.

Billionaire Boys Club

Lest we mention the epic variety of elevated pieces. Sleek track pants, dope cut-and-sew polos, embroidered woven shirts, and divine denim promise to take you back to ancient times.

Staple pieces like the high key fly t-shirts, French terry shorts, 5-panel hats, and snapbacks all rep the Billionaire Boys Club logo in the dopest way imaginable.

This is definitely some luxury streetwear you going to want to get your hands on. Make sure to keep your ear to the streets playa.
