‘Black History’: A$AP Bari debuts first VLONE hood fashion show in Paris

A$AP Bari is making waves in the fashion industry.

Bari’s streetwear brand, VLONE, live streamed its first fashion show today exclusively on Tidal. The runway show took place last night during Paris Men’s Fashion Week.

Definitely a huge milestone for the A$AP Mob member. His decision to showcase the street wear Spring/Summer 2018 Collection was more than simple promotion. His mission was to inspire the youth and those who look up to him and his brand.

In an interview with WWD earlier this month, Bari spoke on his mission, he said,

“I wanted to show in Paris to see if I could complete the mission I’m going for…

“I’m trying to show kids that you can do anything. I’m not a kid that went to fashion school. I’m not a kid that went to college and studied fashion. I’m a kid that grew up in fashion and learned it from a life experience.”

The show debuted his first full line collection, entitled Black History.

The collection included lots of leather, straps, camouflage, and denim. Models strutted around a transparent maze-like runway design wearing denim jackets bearing the word “Friends” sewn on the front with huge “V’s” on the back.

Ominous trap music played while models displayed shirts bearing the phrase “Real Men Wear Black.”

Another huge bonus from streaming the show, Bari debuted new colorways of the Vlone & Nike Air Force 1 highs, including black/blue, black/yellow, and black/yellow/orange.

Virgil Abloh, A$AP Rocky, and designer Samuel Ross, along with many other figureheads of the hip-hop and fashion worlds, were in attendance for the event. Theophilus London tweeted his favorite looks from the Black History Collection.

Check out A$AP Rocky support his fellow Mob member, sporting the yellow and black striped pants Vlone debuted today.

Bari’s collection marks the third fashion collaboration for Tidal, following its live stream of Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 presentation at Madison Square Garden in NYC as well as Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma show in Paris.

From KD to Drizzy: All the influencers who are rocking VLONE (Photos)

VLONE isn’t just another streetwear brand. It’s hood fashion at its finest.

When A$AP Bari, A$AP Rocky, and CLOT’s Edison Chen first came together in 2014 they defined the direction of the company, knowing that it would soon be the new wave that encapsulated their own lifestyle, but was also universally real to everybody.

Keeping it as authentic as possible, Bari, Rocky, and Chen have created the brand that dudes like Uzi, Playboi Carti, and everyone in A$AP can vibe with. But VLONE goes far beyond A$AP Mob and friends.

Today, everyone who understands the movement is rocking this shit. From MVPs to the biggest artists in the game, they’re all rocking the flyest brand out right now.

It all started with Rocky and Bari making it a lifestyle.

Now you might catch Odell in a VLONE hoodie chilling with Neymar.

Or Nas wearing the VLONE x 2PAC hat. Shout out Dave East.

When NAV hits the stage with The Weeknd he stunts in the Friends x Fragment bomber jacket.

Every time Wiz and Rocky link up they’re rocking VLONE.

Matter fact Rocky is in VLONE whether he’s with French…

Or coolin’ with Kanye.

2 Chainz stays repping VLONE whether he’s with DJ Khaled…

Chopping it up with Draymond Green…

And you already know LeBron had to get the VLONE Air Forces with the white laces though.

Steve Stoute and Charles Oakley are with the shits too!

Drake and Yachty both rock with VLONE heavy too.

They got the outfits to go with the VLONE Air Forces.

Yachty even puts on the VLONE camo joint for his videos.

And Drizzy is just really out here repping for his homies.

9 times out of 10 you already know Uzi is rocking this.

But no one is repping VLONE more than Playboi Carti right now.

Even the former MVP Kevin Durant pulls up to playoff press conferences in that VLONE.

And of course the baddies are f*ckin’ with it.

Toast to the Gods for making VLONE that shit.
