Sacramento Kings power forward Zach Randolph was arrested on felony marijuana possession with intent to sell on Wednesday night according to TMZ Sports.

Law enforcement was called to the Nickerson Gardens area in LA around 10 pm to break up a raucous party.

When LAPD showed up apparently people were blocking the roadway, smoking, and playing loud music, but when people began to flee the scene, LAPD went into LAPD mode.

Randolph was one of three people arrested.

Zach Randolph, aka Z-Bo, was charged with felony possession with intent to sell because of the amount of bud he had on him… ok Z-Bo.

Apparently after the arrests, things got a little hostile between partygoers and LAPD.

According to TMZ Sports:

“6 cop cars were vandalized — tires slashed and windows busted — and cops formed a battle line to restore order.”

Sheesh.

I have a feeling the intense charges for Randolph were probably in part due to the reaction of his fellow partygoers, I mean dude is not selling marijuana.

My guy Z-Bo just signed a 2-year/$24 million contract with the Sacramento Kings, he does not need to sell piff in the offseason.

Yes, maybe he had a very large amount of marijuana on his person, but in all likelihood that was just to maintain the (clearly very lit) function.

Zach Randolph has had off the court issues before, but his gregarious personality and playing style make him a personal favorite. How can you not fuck with Z-Bo?

Also, isn’t weed, like, legal in California? How is Randolph getting arrested for it? This is some bullshit.

The 2-time All Star is apparently out on $20,000 bond, and was all smiles leaving the bookings.

In the meantime, keep all your Z-Bo slander to yourselves!
