The graphics for video games in 2018 are going to be absolutely insane

Graphics in video games can only keep getting better and better. But a few 2018 titles have even the most seasoned gaming nerds take a second look.

It was only thirty years ago that the simple ass Pong game was created and was the first video game with insane visuals. We’ve made crazy strides in games since then. Especially the games that are coming out soon like Work of Mercy, Detroit: Become Human, Far Cry 5, Red Dead Redemption, and God of War. Peep this video to see why they’re gassing it.

Work of Mercy is a new title coming out in 2018 that has mind blowing graphics. The trailer shows such a realistic apart you might wonder if it’s your crib. Everything down from the phone to the paint on the walls looks insanely realistic.

The story of the game is captivating as well. It centers around a man who had his daughter and wife kidnapped, and he now has to do a variety of tasks for the kidnapper if he ever wants to see his family again. But the graphics make it intense!

Detroit: Become Human also showcases amazing graphics in a futuristic world where AI and robots have become a part of society and decide they have rights just like humans. From the androids to all of the humans, this game looks too brazy.

Far Cry is a very popular series that has produced very visually intense games and Far Cry 5 is no different. The story takes place in modern-day America in a small county in Montana being violently controlled by ultra religious christians. Usually Far Cry games take place in exotic foreign countries but this time it’s different. The story is a new turn in the series and the graphics will make you yack it.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game that many have been waiting as long as 8 years for. It was supposed to be released in 2017 but the game was delayed another year to 2018. After seeing the graphics in the trailer, people will see that it was indeed worth the wait. The game is chock full of action and graphics to match.

God of War is another classic series that underwent a complete graphics revamp but maintains the same fire gameplay.

The game takes place after the previous God of War games, where Kratos has settled down and had a son in a new world with different Gods who become aware of his presence and want to take him down. Kratos must once again prove that nothing can stop his endless rage to take down the Gods.

From the small amount of gameplay snippets that have been released, Kratos looks completely different compared to previous games and it’s sick. Not only does he look super realistic, but the monsters in the game are truly wild.

It’s safe to say that 2018 is the year of graphically intense video games with amazing stories to match. We’ll see if they’re fire or not.
