Blink 182 reunites and announces 2023 world tour with wild commercial

Blink 182 made the epic announcement on YouTube of their upcoming reunion tour by releasing a wild commercial to get their fan’s attention, and trust me they did.

Titled “WE ARE COMING! to a city near you!” just watch the video below to see that they still haven’t lost their comedic touch.

Of course, they are no strangers to being raunchy. After all, they were all but ass naked in one of their first major music videos for “All The Small Things.”

Blink also announced that they will be releasing a new album and it’s safe the say washed people from the 90s are getting their tickets now.

The band has been a little embattled in recent years as bandmate Tom Delonge has been estranged from both Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus, but now it seems that everything is all good.

In recent interviews with Joe Rogan and Steve-O, Tom has seemed a little out of sorts speaking on conspiracies making many people question his mental state.

Just last year frontman Mark Hoppus was dealing with a public battle with cancer and is now in remission and cancer free. And maybe Mark going through that had something to do with the reunion.

In an interview with People, Hoppus says that they all reunited before starting his chemotherapy. He said,

“It was the first time that all three of us were in the same room in, like, five years. It’s actually better than it used to be. There was no agenda. There were no lingering grudges. It felt very back to what it should be: three friends sitting in a room.… Everybody’s in a really great place right now.”

Travis Barker on the other hand has been mostly in the spotlight for his hip-hop collabs, touring with MGK, and of course, marrying a Kardashian.

It’s going to be awesome to see these guys together again and while Mark and Travis have reunited in the past for Blink 182, it just wasn’t the same without Tom.

Blink-182’s Matt Skiba claims he cursed Fyre Fest, says other woke shit

New Blink-182 frontman Matt Skiba has made some rather… interesting comments in lieu of the disastrous Fyre Festival.

You know the story. Ja Rule and some dude named Billy got a bunch of Instagram models to advertise said Fyre Festival.

Then, with tickets starting at $1,500 and certain extremely lit tent packages going for $12,500, a bunch of young rich kids went down to the Bahamas and then got stuck on a pig-infested island with nothing but bread and cheese.

Fyre Festival was a complete disaster. That dude Billy was arrested, charged with wire fraud, and is now out on $300,000 bail.

And it turns out it was all because of frickin’ Matt Skiba.

Skiba heads the band Alkaline Trio and took over for Tom Delonge after Blink-182 broke up in 2015.

It was all because of some damn Skiba witchcraft.

Skiba told NME he willed Fyre Fest into nonexistence,

“I had a bad feeling about that event. I consider myself a pagan and a witch. With every inch of my energy I wanted Fyre not to happen. I put all the electricity and energy in my body against that thing happening.”

Alright then. Skiba went on,

“We pulled out for technical and logistical issues and the rest of it crumbled to shit because that’s what it was. It was bullshit. I used my witchy ways and it seemed to work. I’ll take responsibility and everyone can blame me.”

So that’s a totally wild and ridiculous thing to say, but then Skiba went on to make some awoken and poignant points about the socioeconomic landscape of the Caribbean and how tourists interact with the islands,

“I’ve been to the Bahamas before and it’s so crass. You land in Nassau and the whole island is replete with beauty and culture, but there’s a lot of poverty. It is a largely black population then they build these places like Atlantis and The Cove that are walled off.

“It’s classist and racist and then they decided to park a bunch of yachts with models to show off in front of those poor people, going down there with all your Ferraris and bullshit and yachts.”

Fair enough.

Skiba seems like quite the character. As a former Blink stan, I’m still a little hurt that Tom Delonge and the boys broke up and I’m not so convinced about this Skiba character’s ability to get as truly nasally as Delonge.

Regardless, one thing we can agree upon is that being frontman for Blink-182 gives you some interesting ideas.
