In the summer of 2019, Chase McCormick and I met before our senior year of High School at a Summer internship program at Loyola Marymount University.

Chase pursuing screenwriting and I pursuing sports marketing. From the day we met Chase and I knew instantly that we would become lifelong friends for our similar interest in sports, music, and fashion.

From our heated discussions and debates taking place everyday during our Summer internship program, Chase and I decided to take our talents to a wider audience on the internet for everyone to see.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, while raised in Detroit, Michigan, Chase prides himself on his comedy writing skills and freestyling rap abilities and transforming his creative talents into feature-length scripts as well as fire mixtapes such as his debut tape, Fade Away.

On this classic music project, Chase raps prolifically spitting comedic bars, incorporating double sometimes triple entendres, uses movie skits, and lists tons of Detroit and basketball references.

Currently Chase is a Sophomore at Loyola Marymount University majoring in screenwriting and minoring in African American Studies, along with working in the university trash and recycling yard to afford his education.

In this episode, the rapper CHANGE and I discuss his career as CHANGE and how his education is impacting his upcoming music project, his love for basketball,

Chase’s family’s professional and collegiate sports background, our admiration for some of our other favorite rappers such as the late great Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa, Dave East, and Action Bronson, who Chase states had inspired him to gain 100 pounds. -Ok.

Chase’s passion for his hometown Detroit and love for Black Culture is clear, and from the start, I’ve always believed that however this man pops off, one day he’s gonna do big things for the culture! Kulture Hub family please welcome my brother and rapper CHANGE!

There’s much more to come from The Big Beezy Show make sure to stay tuned.
