Mila Kunis set up a monthly donation to Planned Parenthood in Mike Pence’s name

Mila Kunis has revealed a harmless, but powerful protest-“prank” (but not really a prank) that she she pulled on Vice President Mike Pence.

“It’s not so much a prank as much as I disagreed with some of the stuff Pence was doing and trying to do, so as a reminder that there are women out there in the world that  may or may not agree with his platform, I put him on a list of recurring donations that are made in his name to Planned Parenthood… Every month, to his office he gets a letter that says ‘An anonymous donation has been made in your name.'”

She described the act as a “peaceful protest.”

The Bad Moms star strongly disagreed in what Pence had to say regarding health care for women so she set up a donation for Planned Parenthood that thanks Pence for his contribution to the organization every month by sending him a thank you letter to his office.

Pence has been known for his strict policies and attacks on Planned Parenthood, he was described by Politico as going on  a “one-man crusade” against the organization.

Regarding abortion, Pence once went so far as saying, “I long for the day that Roe v. Wade is sent to the ash heap of history.”

Pretty disgusting.

Mila’s protest may be harmless, but it’s a powerful statement on the difference one person’s voice could make. Role models like Kunis and football star Colin Kapernick really show that there are many different ways to get your voice out there and make a difference within your community.
