Everyone who’s #StrandedinBali because of the volcano can finally dip
After a three day shutdown due to volcanic ash blocking flight paths, Bali’s airport has finally reopened.
But for how long? Volcano, Mt. Agung, continues to spew ash and one change in wind direction could shutdown airports again, according to officials.
Bali Ngurah Rai airport spokesman, Arie Ahsanurrohim, said airport officials are evaluating the spread of volcanic ash and the direction of the wind every six hours, according to news agency Antara.
Arie also said more than 440 flights were canceled on Tuesday, affecting nearly 60,000 passengers.
Would you be tight if you couldn’t go home due to some stupid volcano’s ash cloud? Some are sick AF and some are hype. After all, you would be stuck in an Indonesian paradise.
Volcano turn up, WOOOT!
Currently hoping to be “stuck” in Bali for the next few days with a coconut in my hand. #Balivolcano #travelgoals https://t.co/kCe2RbTMFu pic.twitter.com/MdSk5m7mzF

Yo @realDonaldTrump, just checking in from #Bali again. Seems like all other countries are sending help, like China hooking up their peeps w/100 busses. Thought you should know 🇺🇸 is stuck here.

I been hearing the most unbelievably monstrous noises – like thunder from the dark world. I’m pretty sure this #Balivolcano is going to erupt soon.

Regardless of the tourists’ feels, this is still a very dangerous situation. Around 100,000 people have been ordered to evacuate the island. On Monday Bali officials raised the alert to the highest level.
To add, the Disaster Mitigation Agency in Karangasem says that some 40,000 people are housed in 225 shelters.
Still, there are thousands of tourists still stranded. Some locals won’t even leave the crib. According to the AP, tens of thousands of villagers have chosen to stay either because they feel safe, or want to protect their property.
To be honest, I would dip. No one is trying to see what comes out of that thing. Neither is anyone trying to outrun lava nor trying to get cooked faster than a can of Chef Boyardee.

This wouldn’t be the first time this year where people within range of the monstrous Mt. Agung have been urged to evacuate the area.
In September 144,000 people dipped after the government warned them that the volcano could erupt.
Hopefully, neighboring countries like Australia will be able to lend a helping hand if lava hits the fan.
According to BBC, Australian Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, said that his government is working to help thousands of Australian holidaymakers stranded on Bali to return home.
To all the pilots making their way to rescue those who are #StrandedInBali, fly safe, those ash clouds are braze.
