Does Mike Tyson’s $40K monthly weed budget put all stoners to shame?

That’s a whole lot of gas. Yeah, you might smoke a lot, smoke some good strains, spend some extra bread on those good strains, and roll up a blunt as soon as your eyes open up in the morning.

But are you smoking like Mike Tyson is? The answer is almost certainly no. In his podcast, titled “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson,” Tyson pondered the amount of money he spends on weed a month.

“What do we smoke a month?” the former heavyweight champion asked his co-host, Eben Britton.

“Is it $40,000 a month?”

“We smoke 10 tons of weed at the ranch a month,” said Britton, a former NFL player turned marijuana advocate. The ranch he is referring to is Tyson ranch, the boxer’s 40-acre marijuana farm and “resort.”

“Is that crazy?” Tyson asked.

For a man who was arrested 38 times by the age of 13, admitted to being high on drugs during some of his fights, and bit an opponent’s ear during one of them, the goalposts of “crazy” get moved a little bit. If Tyson is chilling smoking large volumes of piff each day and finding his inner peace, all power to him.

Rapper Jim Jones also happened to be a guest on the podcast this day.

“That’s a lot of weed. That’s nonstop, every second weed right there.”

Indeed it is.

That’s a light-up-during-breakfast weed. Puff-up-before-a-shower weed. Don’t even question if it’s a smoke-up-before-bedtime weed.

With all that weed being run through, one may ask whether it’s counterproductive to Tyson’s business. Well, for someone with as much bread as Tyson, and in a business that is only going to get bigger, it is a measure he can afford.

Not to mention, Tyson along with Jake Plummer, Ricky Williams,  Floyd Landis, and 150 other athletes are all in support of a petition to remove marijuana from the World Anti-Doping Agency’s prohibited substances list.

Just after Californian recreational marijuana laws went into effect in 2018, Tyson launched Tyson Ranch, which sells nine strains of cannabis flower, potent extracts, and soon, edibles.

For anyone looking to buy, there’s no greater insurance you’re getting what you paid for than the owner constantly smoking the same batch. And 10 tons of weed blowing through 40 racks a month?? If he’s not getting tired of it, chances are you won’t either.

Tyson Ranch, in addition to production facilities, is soon set to feature an edible factory, amphitheater, and “clamping” campgrounds.

Who’s down to take a trip?
