13 scary ass movies on Netflix that you need to watch wild smacked

Scary things have been going on lately. It all started with Jan 2020, and now, a year later, Capitol Hill terror grows wides are we learn how crazy are Trump supporters.

Seems like this year is not as different as the one before, does it?

The thought of bad luck is sickening, huh? Well if you are scared you should cop some piff and stay in your crib. That’s the only thing you should be doing today anyway.

But, being afraid can sometimes be a thrill. So, how are you going to keep your superstitious mind stimulated while you’re in the crib cooked off that good-good? By watching creepy ass movies on Netflix, stupids.

Eyes Wide Shut

Let’s get fucking weird.

A massive masked orgy that takes place in a secret society at a masquerade makes up this 1999 Stanley Kubrick film.

The erotic film is based on Arthur Schnitzler’s 1926 novella Traumnovelle Schnitzler’s novella takes place in Vienna. But Kubrick’s takes the early 20th century Vienna setting and places it in 1990s New York City.

Follow Tom Cruise’s character as he goes crazy trying to find the wildest sexual endeavor he can get himself into.

This movie was completed shortly before Kubrick’s death in March of 1999. Eyes Wide Shut was truly his masterpiece. Trust me when I say that this erotic thriller will have you on the edge of your seat for the whole movie.

Basic Instinct

Basic Instinct is a thrilling throwback released in 1992 and directed by Paul Verhoeven.

This is Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas like you’ve never seen them before. Stone’s character is scary sexy and Douglas’ inquisitive and weary. This combination of characteristics is actually terrifying and gripping AF.

Stone’s character, Catherine Tramell, is a suspect in a gruesome murder of a rock star. What’s so creepy? Tramell is being investigated because the murder is an exact replica of the murder she described in her novel.

As Tramell pens a new novel about a detective who falls in love with a murderer, the big question is, ‘Will Douglas’ character, homicide detective Nick Curran succumb to Tramell’s seduction?’

Donnie Darko

Get ready to shit your pants. Donnie Darko, directed by Richard Kelly, is a science fiction film that follows a troubled boy who has doomsday visions.

Donnie Darko came out in 2001 and for all its critical acclaim it didn’t do very well at the box office.

The film was scarcely advertised due to the fact that the film’s commercial featured a plane crash, which would have been too controversial at the time as the September 11 WTC attacks had just happened.

The movie was filmed over the course of 28 days. The filming timeline has a direct correlation with the plot as Jake Gyllenhaal’s character, Donnie Darko is visited by a mysterious rabbit monster named Frank who tells him the world will end in 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes, and 12 seconds.

Nightcrawler

How Jake Gyllenhaal became Louis Bloom in Nightcrawleis beyond me. His character is a creepy, obsessive, and manic news cameraman.

Bloom will do whatever it takes to get a story that includes creating one. This Dan Gilroy-directed film literally embodies the old saying, “If it bleeds it ledes.”

What the Health

Nothing is scarier than real life.

Filmmakers Kip Andersen and Keegan Kuhn dig up dirt and uncover the detrimental health effects that consuming animal products has on the human body.

This documentary is making people reconsider their daily diet and turning them vegan. At least that’s what happened to my friend’s brother after he watched What the Health.

Watch as Anderson and Kuhn tell us what the world’s leading health organizations don’t want us to know. This is a must-see.

Patchwork

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISDI-a1Yv8c

Let’s sew the bodies of three different girls together and watch them escape. Too gory and weird for you?

Well, that’s exactly what you’ll be watching once you click the Netflix play button on Patchwork.

Patchwork is the perfect movie for those of you who are fans of dark humor. The movie is a comedic version of Frankenstein. After going out for a night on the town three girls are disembodied and find themselves attached together both mentally and physically.

Definitely mind-boggling and disturbing at the same time.

The Prestige

The twist and turns this movie has really make it a magical experience. To prove it, The Prestige was directed by Christopher Nolan, the same visionary behind The Batman Begins and Memento.

The movie, which stars Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, and Scarlett Johansson, takes viewers to a more simple era. The era of magicians. Be entertained as you watch two magicians who start out as friends become the ultimate rivals.

Risky tricks will leave you with a bone-chilling vision of what was like to be an actual magician in the 19th century.

The Prestige is like being on a rollercoaster as they lay the track down, you never know which way the plot is going to go. It’s like a constant climax.

Zodiac

Directed by David Fincher, Zodiac is based on the investigation of the 1960s Zodiac serial killer.

The Zodiac Killer stalked his victims, wrote cryptic messages to taunt the authorities, and claimed to have killed 37 people.

Zodiac was never caught.

Enough said.

Shelley

Let’s have a baby through another person, she said. The baby won’t grow into a demonic force that will haunt us all, she said.

Shelley is the epitome of a surrogate baby gone wrong. This film is guaranteed to leave your mind in the darkest state possible.

Make sure you sleep with the covers over your head because that’s the only way you’ll be getting any rest.

It Follows

We all know that you can catch something like a curse if you have sex, but sheesh imagine if you actually caught a hex.

Director David Robert Mitchell really changed the game with this one. Follow a teenage girl as she tries to get rid of the worst STD known to man.

A supernatural entity that follows her around.

Raw

Raw is a carnivorous hazing ritual at vet school gone wrong. A young vegetarian is forced to eat meat and develops an appetite for human flesh.

This movie is the epitome of a creepy flick.

Eat up!

First They Killed My Father

This Angelina Jolie-directed film is based on the horrific accounts of Cambodian author and human rights activist Loung Ung had as a child during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.

The Khmer Rouge was ruthless and mad with power. They isolated the country from all foreign influences, closed schools, hospitals, and factories.

It doesn’t stop there the Khmer Rouge also abolished all forms of finance and outlawed all religions. On its own the regime massacred 25,000 Buddhists monks.

They forced people out of their homes and into farm labor. No one was allowed to even own private property.

This is some fucked up shit.

Chasing Coral

This is probably not your go-to film if you want to have the crap scared out of you, but Chasing Coral is guaranteed to leave its mark. It’s terrifying because it’s real.

Divers, cameramen, and scientists document the great mystery of the dying coral reefs. You will see huge coral reefs die or “bleach” because of warming oceans due to climate change.

It will leave you speechless, scared, and motivated to do something about a creature that sustains life in many different ways. You will never forget that you watched this film.

[WARNING: Most movies are rated R for Real AF.]

Everyone hop off Eminem and give YG and Nipsey Hussle credit for #FDT

After Eminem ripped Fuckboy Trump a new one many forgot who really started the Fuck Donald Trump, #FDT, movement.

The homie YG.

He came out with the “FDT” featuring Nipsey Hussle before Trumpito even won the election.

From the beginning, YG didn’t take Trump’s racist and disgusting attitude as a joke. YG knew this man was a sick and twisted individual.

The song was controversial and politically charged. Do you remember when the FBI tried to censor NWA for their song “Fuck Tha Police”? Well, the same thing happened to YG, but this time it was the Secret Service repeating history.

The most savage news source TMZ caught up with the LA rapper at an airport and he claimed the secret service was on his ass regarding the lyrics of the song. YG said,

“Secret Service hollered at the label. They asked if they could see the lyrics on my album to see if I’m talking about it on my album. ‘Cause I’m talking about it on my album, they gon’ try to take it off the shelf.”

Yeah FOH! Everyone has freedom of speech.

Peep the Anti Trump Anthem. #FDT

This is real AF! “FDT” isn’t a joke. It addresses the disconnection Trump has with “real” people. Peep this excerpt from YG’s first verse.

Black students, ejected from your rally, what?
I’m ready to go right now, your racist ass did too much
I’m ’bout to turn Black Panther
Don’t let Donald Trump win, that nigga cancer
He too rich, he ain’t got the answers
He can’t make decisions for this country, he gon’ crash us
No, we can’t be a slave for him
He got me appreciatin’ Obama way more
Hey Donald, and everyone that follows
You gave us your reason to be President, but we hate yours

Actually, back when YG and Nipsey Hussle were shooting the video the police tried to stop the whole shoot. LAPD pulled up on the shoot armed with tasers, pistols, and shotguns.

Issa not a vibe to threaten anyone’s constitutional rights

Hands up for expressing yourself?

It shouldn’t have to be that way. Eminem’s bars were fire and he might be the only person that will be able to get the message that Trump is an asshole across to Trump’s supporters.

But just because he discussed the matter of Trump’s bigotry doesn’t mean that he’s been connected to the issue. He’s honestly riding a bandwagon that has been popping from before the Cheeto Jesus was elected.

YG is truly doing it for the streets. Peep what he said in an interview with the LA Times,

“The situation is [screwed] up, but I feel good for speaking up. We spoke up because no one else was speaking up. That’s what rap is made for. Too many rappers keep saying [stuff] with no substance. I told Nip that if we do this together, we gotta speak on Trump and go right to the streets.”

YG continued,

“We’re playing for keeps, for survival. We’ve got to play chess, we can’t be playing checkers. We have to motivate [people]. But we’ve also got to make our own moves and fight out there to keep our heads above water. What else can we do?”

Thank you YG for staying true and starting the Fuck Donald Trump movement. You are truly a prophet.

The internet has everyone shook about the color of these Vans

Let’s get trippy.

A couple of years ago the internet was dumbfounded by a picture of a black and blue dress that people saw as gold and white.

Another meme has surfaced asking viewers, ‘what color do you see?’

What’s causing the color blind craze? A Vans sneaker. The sneaker appears to be shown under some whacky lighting giving it two forms of colorways – mint green and white or pink and white.

Tell me what you see. *Tupac Voice*

I can’t believe this is happening again

A post shared by Tank.Sinatra (@tank.sinatra) on

People are literally yakking it from anxiety, trying to figure out what color the shoe really is. I see pink and white and I know I’m not color blind.

Hold the phone, there’s been an update. Some people are seeing a grey and white Van too.

Maybe Vans came out with the new wave – color changing sneakers?  I doubt it. But, the Twitter community seems to think so. Everyone is going crazy over what shade of the rainbow this sneaker is.

Someone, please help us! We need answers.

Breaking bad house pizza throwers

Lady who lives in ‘Breaking Bad’ crib installs fence because of pizza throwers

What would you do if pizza pies were thrown on your roof for four years?

Angrily chase the culprits down with (add weapon here)? Possibly shoot the hands? Or call the cops (let’s see how far that gets you)?

The victim of the pizza pie throwing vandals, Francis Padilla and her daughter, Joanne Quintana, are building a fence.

Twelve years ago Padilla opened her house to Breaking Bad‘s Walter White and his family. The rest is history.

Breaking Bad fans have so many memories at 308 Negra Arroyo Lane. The most memorable seems to be of Walter White losing his marbles and throwing a pizza pie on the roof of his house after his wife Skyler dubs him from entering his home.

Breaking Bad Pizza GIF - Find & Share on GIPHY

One would think that after Breaking Bad ended four years ago that Padilla would just move back into her house and everything would go back to normal.

Sike!

People have been pulling up and giving themselves a free tour of the residence, which is actually someone’s crib. 3828 Piermont Drive sees hundreds of avid fans pull up daily. Padilla and her daughter have to sit outside in their garage just to make sure no one fucks with the crib.

The family even went ahead and installed security cameras to ensure no one else vandalizes their home. Besides throwing pizza pies on the roof, crazy fans also take rocks from the landscape as souvenirs, and tell the homeowners to get out of the way when they are trying to take a selfie.

Rude!

Welp, crazed fans have fucked it up for the rest of us. The family is now building a 6-foot iron raw iron fence enclosing Walter White’s former crib. Hopefully, the fence will allow the family to return to somewhat of a normal life.

But who knows? There have already been reports of crazy Breaking Bad fanatics climbing around the construction.

White’s prop house is not alone in the fan craze. Renters at Jesse Pinkman’s house also sees some selfie traffic. Tenant, Weckiai Ranilla (insane name) said in an interview with a local news team,

“It’s annoying at worst, but she applauds Quintana’s fence. If it ever got that bad she would break too.”

In honor of Mental Health Day, here’s 11 tracks that will keep you up

Word to Bob Marley when he said, “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.” From early on Bob knew that music can be the ultimate form of therapy.

Music has helped many people, including myself, get through their most difficult times. It touches your heart in the cleanest and purest way. That’s every “talented” artist’s goal when they’re making music – to touch your soul.

An artist’s lyrics can relate to a predicament you’re in, aid you in seeing true emotion, and keep you grounded. There are a couple of songs that have saved my life in ways you would never imagine.

In honor of World Mental Health Day, I would like to share some of the songs with you that helped me get through this arduous journey called life. I hope these songs will help you the same way they helped me.

Peep these 11 songs that will ease the mental pain.

Mac Miller & The Internet – “Objects in the Mirror”

This song is a refreshing taste of life. Mac reminds you that life is precious and that all your troubles in the world should be left in the rearview mirror.

“Objects in the Mirror” helped me get through bad breakups, insecurities about past mistakes, and reminded me how precious life is.

Post Malone – “Too Young”

Post Malone says it all in the hook for me on this one.

I don’t wanna die too young, too young, too young
Counting bands, hallelujah, ‘lujah, ‘lujah
I don’t wanna die too young, too young, too young
I’ve been grindin’ way too long, too long, too long

Live life, be happy, and keep it moving. If you want that shit, go get that shit, and pop that shit. This life is too short and poppin’ to die too young.

Frank Ocean – “We All Try”

Nostalgia to me is Frank Ocean’s best project, every track relates to a situation that most have been through. But “We All Try” stood out to me the most. This is probably the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard in my entire life.

Ocean recognizes the imperfections of humanity but reminds us that we are crafted in the likeness and image of a god.

Each human has their flaws but the important part is that we try to be the best we can be. He doesn’t believe that we are wicked, he knows that we sin, but he does believe we try.

Kid Cudi – “Day ‘N’ Nite”

If you’re stressed out or have anxiety, take a stroll and listen to this song. When this song dropped back in 2009 I was around 15 years old. I was young, stressed, and unaware of who I was.

I never knew the importance of freeing your mind, embracing the environment around you, and going with the flow. Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘N’ Nite” taught me how.

Kendrick Lamar – “Alright”

As a young black man in America, you can imagine how much this song spoke to me. All of our lives we had to fight just to be considered a human being.

Even now we are reminded that we are still looked at as “niggers” as innocent Blacks die at the hand of police officers.

All the unjust killings had me angry. If it wasn’t for this song that reminds us that God got us and that we are going to be “alright’ I don’t know how I would have acted on my anger. So, thank you, Kendrick Lamar.

Isaiah Rashad – “4r Da Squaw”

“4r Da Squaw” spoke to me in many different ways. It kept it real and helped me be real with myself. Isaiah speaks of the fear of adulthood and being responsible. All of us young cats can relate.

One of the scariest parts of life is entering the midpoint of the transition between being a child and becoming an adult. Especially if you’re coming out of college and have loans or if you can’t find a job to take care of your expenses, it’s all the same.

Shit, some people have to grow up earlier than that. I have homies that have been on their own since 17.

Rashad reminds us that if we can balance our responsibilities within our daily lives that transition into adulthood can be much easier.

Lil Uzi Vert – “Money Longer”

One thing that will always motivate me when I’m down or in a funk is getting my money up. “Money Longer” reminded me of that.

Sometimes you just have to lock in and gear up into the savage mode. Once that is done according to Lil Uzi, cars will get faster and money will get longer.

Trust me on this everyone, once in awhile you have to hype yourself up. Grinding is a big part of having a stress free life, you can’t have one without the other.

The Internet – “Girl”

We all know relationships can cause a lot of stress and there are a lot of songs that relate to heartbreak. We’ve all been heartbroken at some point throughout our lives but what if you could avoid that? “Girl” to me is like a love manual.

The Internet does an amazing job about explaining what love is really worth. You should feel the same way that Syd feels about this girl or vice versa in whatever relationship you’re in.

If that’s not the case then you should really consider if that other person is causing you to be sad all of the time or is the reason why you are hurting. This song taught me how to love and how I should be loved.

Schoolboy Q – “Blessed”

The first time I heard this song I cried. Q reminds us that it could be much worse and there are people out there that are going through some real shit compared to whatever we’re going through.

“Blessed” stresses that you also have people around you that can and will help you. All you have to do is reach out and you’ll be surprised how many people will stick out their helping hand.

If you never heard this song and you’re going through some ish please listen to it. Don’t neglect the progress of a baby step.

Nipsey Hussle – “10 Toes”

“10 Toes” was my wake up alarm for a while. Trust me it did wonders for waking up inspired.

Lace up those sneakers and don’t be afraid to step into an unforgiving world. Wear your confidence on your chest and tackle every situation with your all.

If you’re feeling unmotivated Nipsey Hussle’s bars will always keep you going for what you want to achieve. Don’t stress homie.

Logic – “1-800-273-8255”

We are all humans with all of our own stresses and it’s important to talk to someone if you need to express how you really feel. It’s unhealthy to keep your pain locked inside.

When you feel like you’re about to lose yourself in a deep depression there’s always someone you can call. Logic reminds us that on “1-800-273-8255.” That number is the suicide prevention hotline.

If you relate to this song call that number now and live.

Triplets Ghetto Kids

The Triplets Ghetto Kids have new lives after ‘Unforgettable’ video

After making an appearance in French Montana and Swae Lee’s “Unforgettable” music video (which has been watched close to half a billion times), the Triplets Ghetto Kids have a newfound hope for a life out of the slums.

Straight out of Uganda’s capital of Kampala, Triplets Ghetto Kids are causing quite the buzz. The dance group comprises of three girls and six boys ranging in age from 6 to 17.

They were nine homeless, impoverished, or parentless children from Uganda but they have found redemption through dancing and music.

Peep the crew

Since their “Unforgettable” music video debut this year, TGK has appeared on Jimmy Fallon and at the BET Awards. Sources also say that they are expected to work with Beyonce soon.

But that isn’t where they started. TGK’s dancing career commenced after fellow Ugandan artist Eddy Kenzo put them in his viral video for “Sitya Loss.”

Peep TGK’s come up in Eddy Kenzo’s “Sitya Loss”

All of the members were struggling to find money for school as most of their parents were jobless. In a recent interview with BBC’s Haider Saleem with group member Fred Tumwesigye (age 13), Tumwesigye said,

“I was really young and I was with my brother Isaac in the village. So we are collecting scrap so we can get school fees and then I talk to the seller so I can get money and I take it to school. We started dancing and then the man come and told us, ‘You have talent. Can I help you? Do you want to go to school? We said, yes. He saw our mom and then we joined Triplets Ghetto Kids.”

Fred wasn’t alone in the struggle trying to find funds to attend school.

Fellow dance crew member, Patricia (age 12) found TGK through the group’s manager, Kavum Dauda who worked at her school,

“My manager was training at my school – music, dance, and drums. One day he told me, ‘Why are you not coming to school some days?’ I explained to him my mother is not working, my father is not working, so they can not afford school fees for me or my brothers.”

There is nowhere to go but up for these kids. The group’s manager Kavum Dadua is also taking the group’s talents beyond dancing, allowing them to experiment with acting and music.

Peep Ghetto Dreams

Dauda never expected these kids to make it big, he was only thinking of Uganda and spreading inspiration to children worldwide. In the interview with BBC, Dauda said,

“I’m very proud of the kids and proud of myself because I didn’t know that this would come to the world. I was thinking only about Uganda. We are representing Africa and the kids all over the world. We are bringing hope to the kids out there hoping to be somewhere in their future.”

From the dirt to the jacuzzi, the Triplets Ghetto Kids are living a truly unforgettable lifestyle

Now they’re getting the recognition they deserve.

Shout out to French for helping the world see their talent.

Gizzle

Gizzle, the LA songwriter behind some of your favorite hits, is going solo

There are several individual parts operating behind the scenes to create the music you love.

The most familiar pieces of the music recording process are the producer(s), an emcee, and the emcee’s posse. But, the secret component to the process is the ghostwriter.

An artist’s greatest fear is to be washed up and played out. Vibing with other artists is necessary to keep them afloat. One vibe session can create a snowballing effect that results in truly great art.

Think about it for a second. If you already found your sound, had hit records you wrote yourself, wouldn’t you want to hire someone that has bars to help your sound stay fresh? The ghostwriter serves as an inspiration to develop your sound in ways you would never have thought.

Facebook

Did Michelangelo paint the Sistine Chapel by himself? No, he didn’t. He had several assistants help make one of the greatest masterpieces in human history. So, just look at a ghostwriter in that fashion.

The best is when a ghostwriter has a particular sound that’s hot. Out of that heat a musical flower might sprout looking to break through the sod and join the other stars above the topsoil. An artist can help someone discover a new sound or a new perspective.

That artist is LA songwriter/rapper Gizzle. She’s ridiculously talented and helped write songs with the likes of Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, Travis Scott, G-Eazy, and Nicki Minaj.

She now wants to break out into her own lane. Kulture Hub linked up with Gizzle in a phone interview to tap into her musical wisdom and the transition she’s making into her own artistry.

Peep this playlist featuring songs Gizzle help write:

You might not know it, but Gizzle has been in the game for some time now – over 10 years. She aspired to become the “best rapper ever” since the age of 12. Now at 28, she’s finally getting the platform she deserves.

The possibility of becoming a star didn’t cross her mind until labels caught wind of her while she was still in high school at the age of 16. Little did she know she would step into the lane of a songwriter.

It was her manager, Cudda Love that gave Gizzle the opportunity to possibly obtain the limelight from behind the curtain. This was meant to be her path and avidly reading up on the “game” kept Gizzle on her toes from becoming a record deal horror story.

Under her grandfather’s tutelage, she discovered a newfound understanding of what she wanted to accomplish. Her grandfather realized how great she was going to be and made her study the game. Gizzle learned to look at the game from the perspective of a student, she spoke of her grandfather’s prudence,

“It’s kept me from signing a record deal thus far (laughs). I think, my grandfather pushing my uncle and me to really study the industry before we dived in was really important. I think that’s how you should approach anything that you want to learn, be good at, or successful in. You should always approach it as a student first…”

Gizzle continued,

“I kind of apply that to every area of my life when I want to try something new. There are a lot of people that are experts in each industry for a reason. They laid a lot of the blueprint down for you. If you don’t take advantage of the knowledge that’s available you are really doing a disservice to yourself.”

Her studious attitude kept industry wolves at bay. Yeah, Gizzle knows what’s good. She knows what to look for, she understands the logic of the music deal, and no one will ever pull the wool over her eyes.

She’s definitely a seasoned artist for someone still so young. Gizzle mentioned a book which she is currently reading for the second time, All You Need to Know About the Music Business. She stressed that having a basic knowledge of the industry “makes a world of a difference.”

“All the horror stories of people signing bad deals. You would think those things don’t happen anymore, but they still do and the books are still around.”

Gizzle has always been infatuated with words and idioms. Growing up, she wrote poetry to express herself.

At around eight years old, while her father was in and out of jail, Gizzle would respond to her father’s seven-page letters.

Back then she didn’t realize it, but now she grasps how writing poetry and penning letters aided her in finding her voice and expressing herself creatively.

Facebook

The support of her family and teachers confirmed her talent and as a kid she knew what she would be doing for the rest of her life.

“I’ve always had the support of whatever English teacher and all of my creative writing teachers. I’ve had some really, really, really good teachers who wouldn’t mind if I turned in a homework with raps on it or if I wasn’t paying attention because I was writing raps in class. I think that was confirmation along the way. It was with that and the support of my family I never second-guessed what I would do with my life once I decided.”

Time has allowed Gizzle to evolve into a very special artist. Although she’s from LA, her flow sounds so NY. Her music presents itself as raw, raspy, urban, and real.

Watch her lyrically flex in “Melanin”

All kinds of rapper’s flows have influenced her style. Jay-Z is her all-time favorite rapper. The LOX, Lil Wayne, and the east coast battle rapping era laid the framework of her genius. Gizzle “wanted to rap and learn the phonetics of rap and the different styles of lyricism.”

Missy Elliot’s attitude towards creativity, production, and songwriting helped her understand what it means to think outside of the box. Along with Elliot, Timbaland and Teddy Riley inspired Gizzle’s push for individuality.

Her godfather Teddy Riley helped Gizzle put her first demo together and is responsible for getting her in the industry.

The industry has done her a great favor. Opportunity presented its way through other artists. The knowledge Gizzle has gained from songwriting and collaborations is incredible.

Working with P. Diddy definitely had an impact on her music. She spoke on being in the same room with Puff, who she considers a big brother and mentor,

“Anytime you have a chance to just be in the room with Puff it’s a blessing. You are going to take away something, you’re going to leave more motivated with more belief in yourself…”

Gizzle continued,

“He doesn’t stop at good enough, always encouraging you to set the bar a little bit higher, to be a little bit better than before. He’s a little bit of a perfectionist. He has a lot of pride in what he does. Whatever he believes in he’s going to go hard for. It could be a project he’s working on, a company he’s working with, an artist he signed, his friends, his family. That’s what I’ll always take away from Puff – dedication, determination, and belief.”

Along with big brother Puff, is Ty Dolla $ign is another of Gizzle’s favorite collaborators. Gizzle loves working with the Taylor Gang artist. Every time they get in the studio issa vibe. Together they were able to knock out Dolla $ign’s part on Kanye West’s “Real Friends” in 20 minutes.

Facebook

Vic Mensa is another rapper, Gizzle respects and loves to work with as well. She admires “the dedication to his craft.”

Gizzle has taken what she has learned from working with other artists and applied it to her own career. She’s stepping out of the shadows and into the limelight with an ingenious set of concept records. Her first solo music projects will be EPs made over the course of a week in different cities.

Each city she records in, Gizzle has a special connection to. Projects to come will be recorded in Atlanta, Philly, LA, and Denver. Atlanta to her is an epic hub for up and coming artists and it’s like a second crib to Gizzle.

She has had a deep love for Philly from when she was a child. LA is her hometown and Denver has a cultural art scene that took her breath away.

7 Days in Atlanta is the first of the four.

Although the series of EPs are for the fans, Gizzle looks at them in as “a way to stay creative and expansive.” She wants to immerse herself in the culture traveling, meeting people, and building a relationship with each city she visits.

Next year she plans on taking the 7-day projects worldwide. Mind you this is all while she readies her debut album.

Gizzle’s work ethic and dedication to her craft are truly unique. Her wisdom is one of a kind as she learns from others and studies her career has nowhere to go but up.

Before we ended our conversation she left a message for the all the youth dem,

“Save your money, work on your craft, do it every day, and be fearless. Be as fearless as you can be. The older you get in life you’ll start to perceive these obstacles that don’t exist and that might take some of your momentum. But stay focused on your goal. Lil Wayne may have a 15-year-old son he didn’t even know about on deck

If a condom breaks, can you sue Trojan for child support? New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne might have a case on his hands.

Wayne is looking to add Keiotia Watson to his list of baby mamas. Wayne already has four kids (three sons and one daughter). Now, his newly claimed 15-year-old son, Dwayne Watson, is looking to call Weezy F. Baby, Weezy F. Daddy.

According to TMZ, the most savage news source out, Watson had a child nine months exactly after she and Wayne had “hooked up,” back in 2001.

Apparently, Watson went before a judge to establish paternity and won. The Louisiana judge ruled in Watson’s favor for Wayne to pay a whopping $5,000 per month. Yet, Wayne hasn’t paid a dime of child support.

I know what you’re thinking? Weezy is a sleazy father. Wrong!

It’s not his fault he missed out on payments. Lawyers never served legal documents to the “best rapper alive.” To prove it, Wayne has accepted the challenge of fatherhood and agreed to take a paternity test, according to a source in Wayne’s circle.

Watson will receive a fat check – 15 years of child support, plus three years until Dwayne turns 18 if everything goes according to plan. But, could this be some kind of fucked up scheme? If it is, Dwayne Jr. is one tiggidy tight mofo.

He’s probably been telling his homies that he’s Lil Wayne’s son for a hot minute. I can hear it now, “That’s my daddy.” His homies replying, “Yeah, FOH!” Well, a DNA test will, hopefully, prove all of them wrong soon, little guy.

Imagine finding out Lil Tunechi is your pops. You would be too ecstatic yo! Would you want to trade places? He definitely will receive a lot of love. Lil Wayne is known for going off for his offspring.

You ever peep the sweet 16 he threw for his daughter Reginae Carter? Reginae copped a BMW and a Ferrari. Sheesh!

Hopefully, if the test comes back positive, the long-lost son and his father can foster a healthy relationship.

It’ll be lit if Dwayne Jr. has been working on his own Carter project, low key. Wherever you are Lil Wayne mini-me, good luck. I really hope it all works out for you.

And for Wayne, good shit stepping up and claiming what’s yours. That’s some real manly shit. A true boss takes care of his own and steps up to the responsibility, regardless of its difficulty.

Really out here: A brief history of the wild ass animals that inhabit NYC

NYC is home to the wildest people on earth. With that said, it’s safe to say that the NYC habitat is wild as well.

The “no fucks given” NY attitude has taken on a new form. It has taken on the form of exotic pets and wildlife.

So many different environments for creatures to set up shop. Furry and feathered creatures tag along with their owners through the dark tunnels of the subways, the fluorescent trains, and the sunny public parks. Lest we forget the iconic corner of an NYC block.

Some of these pets and wildlife are ridiculous, some of them are absurd. But if you ever get a chance to witness one you might get more than a laugh out of the situation.

Have you ever seen an anteater on a leash coming out of an NYC subway?

Salvador Dali might have popped it for bringing wild creatures on the subway

Yew!

If you think that’s all we got, you’re greatly mistaken, my friend. Beyond insane domestication, we have wildlife doing what they do best – wildin’.

These NYC streets are not safe. Watch your back you never know when a squirrel might try to take your nut. His rat cousin might run up on you for some pizza. Shit, they got homeless animals too looking for that fire seed.

You think this is a game? Subway rat will try to eat you

Sheesh! Keep watch for creatures like this somewhere in your NYC neighborhood. You never know you might pull up on a tiger in Harlem (LOL).

Nah, that really happened, peep below.

NYPD cop who bodied James Blake countersues for making him look racist

So, a black professional tennis player, a white NYPD officer, and the policeman’s lawyer walk into a bar. What does the lawyer say to the tennis pro? You’re sued!

Two years ago, NYPD officer James Frascatore tackled and arrested retired tennis pro James Blake in front of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan. Blake is no gangster or credit card scammer, but that’s the reason Frascatore took him to the ground.

Thank god the ordeal was caught on camera. In the footage, you can see Blake just chilling, minding his own business. Then shwam, he goes to the ground, gets bagged, and taken away.

Peep the injustice.

The ordeal rattled Blake and left him with a cut to his left elbow and bruises. Cops held Blake for 15 minutes before realizing their mistake. Frascatore avoided any criminal charges hiding behind the power of his badge. But he couldn’t hide from the headlines.

In an interview with the New York Daily News in 2015, Blake said,

“It was definitely scary and definitely crazy. In my mind there’s probably a race factor involved, but no matter what there’s no reason for anybody to do that to anybody.”

Frascatore is now saying those same headlines and comments in the media have had a negative impact on his life. He’s looking to sue Blake and the NYPD for throwing him under the bus. He’s snitching on Harper Collins Publishers, which released Blake’s book, Ways of Grace as well.

Whoo, this man is brazen AF!

It was a terrible arrest but don’t blame the victim for your investigative team’s mistake. Frascatore claimed in an interview with the New York Post that his supervisors told him that Blake was armed and closely resembled the suspect.

“People need to realize that with the information I had at the time and the circumstances that presented themselves, it was the right call…”

Frascatore continued,

“I have a family to go home to. I’m on a crowded sidewalk, with a possibly armed suspect in the middle of 42nd Street. You have to take control of the situation. I can’t just be pulling out my gun.”

The first time I’m hearing that come out of a cop’s mouth. Normally, it’s shoot first and ask questions after. Imagine if he shot James Blake, Frascatore would be just like Terry from the movie The Other Guys, when he shot Derek Jeter.

The lawsuit claims slander and emotional distress as Frascatore maintains that Blake made him “look like a racist goon” and after buying Blake’s book it made him “very angry and upset while reading it.”

Beyond belief!

How are you going to tackle someone and then try to take their bread?

Yo, Frascatore, I hope you never ever get that scrilla. Blake, stay up my guy, this fool isn’t getting anything from you.
