An inside look into NYC’s growing underground party, Origins Underground
We recently checked in to see how our Manhattan underground Techno homies, Dylan Farrugia and Bryan Fein, were doing after their launch of Origins Underground back in October of 2017.
Not only has their family grown on the dance floor, but their team behind-the-scenes has too.
“There are a plethora of people who want to DJ, who want to get their foot in the door, and I feel like this is the type of platform for them to showcase their talent and music.”
They met with Record Berry host, Evelyn Szachniewicz, who was able to chat with some of their artists at Louie & Chan, as well as OU’s newest member and creative director, Dylan Roberts.
From talks of a 10 track remix compilation set to release next month on D.J. MacIntyre’s, SLC-6 Music, to getting up close and personal with resident DJs, Z3n Master and David Rodriguez, you can catch it all here in this exclusive video!
“The underground scene is growing in New York, especially in Brooklyn and our idea was to bring that underground scene to Manhattan. That’s what we’re trying to do, that’s our goal. Our goal is to not only be in New York but be in different cities and different countries, just to really expand. We see Origins not only in New York but way bigger.”
Stay connected for more announcements, including Origins-On-Water, OU’s first pop up/ yacht party set to sail on July 3rd. Be sure to stay posted for more info soon and pull up!
“If anyone wants to start a party, you’ve got to just find like-minded people that are interested in the same things and just build from there. If you just keep being persistent, then anything is possible.”
